Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Assignment: Through 11/14/2026, with possible extension
Parking: Free onsite parking

Schedule

  • Monday: 6:00 PM – 2:30 AM

  • Tuesday: 6:00 PM – 2:30 AM

  • Wednesday: 6:00 PM – 2:30 AM

  • Thursday: 6:00 PM-2:30 AM

  • Friday: OFF

  • Saturday: 6:00 am-2:30 pm

  • Sunday: OFF

Please note: The Monday–Thursday shifts end at 2:30 AM the following morning.

Job Overview

We are seeking a Janitor to support cleaning and sanitation operations within an industrial Soil Department in Auburn, WA.

This is a fast-paced, physically demanding industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, production, industrial, or similar environment and be comfortable staying active throughout the shift.

This is not primarily an office, hotel, or residential housekeeping position. Candidates should be comfortable working in a heavy industrial environment and handling the physical demands of the Soil Department.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain assigned areas within the Soil Department and facility.

  • Wipe down counters, surfaces, windows, and window ledges.

  • Dust elevated areas using a ladder.

  • Sweep and mop floors and other work areas.

  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms.

  • Restock restroom and cleaning supplies.

  • Remove and dispose of garbage.

  • Use leaf blowers and other cleaning equipment as needed.

  • Follow established cleaning and sanitation procedures.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

  • Work efficiently and maintain a steady pace throughout the shift.

  • Follow all required safety procedures and PPE requirements.

  • Complete Bloodborne Pathogen training as part of orientation.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in an industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, production, or similar environment preferred.

  • Ability to work at a fast pace and stay productive throughout the shift.

  • Comfortable performing physically demanding cleaning tasks.

  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, sweep, mop, and lift.

  • Comfortable using a ladder for elevated dusting and cleaning.

  • Comfortable working around garbage and in an industrial/Soil Department environment.

  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.

  • Able to follow safety procedures and use required PPE.

  • Comfortable working the Monday–Thursday evening schedule, including shifts ending at 2:30 AM.

  • This role is best suited for candidates with industrial cleaning or similar hands-on experience.

PPE & Training

Required PPE may include:

  • Gloves

  • Masks

  • Aprons

  • Eye protection

  • Ear plugs

  • Hair net

  • Scrubs

Bloodborne Pathogen training will be provided during orientation.

Additional Information

  • Drug test: Onsite drug screening, including THC.

  • Background check: Completed by Kelly Services.

  • First day: Enter through the front door to receive a badge and complete safety orientation.

  • Lockers: Personal and work lockers are available. Candidates should bring their own locks.

  • Assignment: Currently scheduled through 11/14/2026, with potential for extension and the possibility of continued work beyond that date.

  • Parking: Free onsite parking.
