Location: Perris, CA 92570
Pay Rate & Schedule
1st Shift
- Monday-Friday
- 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- $19.00 per hour
2nd Shift
- Monday-Friday
- 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
- $20.00 per hour
Position Summary
The Logistics Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing exceptional customer support by responding to customer inquiries, processing orders, coordinating shipments, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. This role serves as a key liaison between customers, warehouse operations, and internal departments to ensure accurate order fulfillment and excellent service. Additional responsibilities include handling administrative and clerical tasks, maintaining records, and supporting daily distribution operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships by responding to inquiries and resolving issues related to orders, invoices, shipments, inventory, and service requests.
- Process and enter customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Generate inventory and stock reports to verify product availability.
- Prepare all required documentation associated with customer orders and work requests.
- Coordinate special, expedited, and last-minute shipping requests with Operations and Transportation teams.
- Follow up with internal departments to ensure customer service standards and delivery expectations are met.
- Review and verify invoices to ensure billing accuracy.
- Provide shipping, tracking, and delivery status updates to customers.
- Maintain records of damaged shipments, shortages, and backorders.
- Communicate customer concerns and feedback to management.
- Act as a liaison between customers, warehouse personnel, and office staff regarding account administration, invoicing, and service-related matters.
- Maintain accurate files and documentation for all customer orders and transactions.
- Keep customer-specific procedures and account instructions current and up to date.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous customer service, logistics, distribution, or warehouse support experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Basic typing and data entry skills.
- Familiarity with 10-key data entry.
- Experience with shipping systems such as UPS and FedEx.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to work in both office and warehouse environments.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed to support business operations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
