Location: Onsite in Hayward, CA
Shift: 1st Shift
Pay Rate: $38.00 – $42.00/hour
Type: Contract

At Kelly®, we’re passionate about connecting talented professionals with incredible opportunities. We’re seeking a highly-skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to become an integral member of the Manufacturing Engineering Team, a visionary leader in autonomous mobility.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in establishing preventative maintenance procedures and standards, reporting directly to the Equipment and Maintenance Manager

  • Collaborate with equipment vendors on major maintenance projects

  • Perform and/or oversee maintenance on all vehicle assembly equipment

  • Respond promptly to downtime events, equipment alarms, and urgent production support requests

  • Conduct root cause analysis on equipment and quality issues

  • Develop solutions for recurring or anticipated maintenance challenges

  • Manage inventory: order tools, spare parts, and supplies for both existing and future production equipment

  • Train production staff in equipment best practices for safe and efficient operations

  • Document and communicate equipment changes and modifications

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with industrial automation, automotive shop/assembly equipment, or equivalent fields (automotive, aerospace)

  • Strong electrical and mechanical background (ranging from 12VDC to 480VAC)

  • Basic understanding of robotics, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, vehicle lifts, and DC tooling

  • Computer proficiency—with a willingness to learn 3D modeling software

  • Ability to interpret 2D and 3D prints/schematics

  • Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
