Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $24-$25/hour
Shift: 2nd Shift, production shifts, Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings or weekends if necessary

What’s a typical day as Production Lead? You’ll be:
- Supervising and coordinating daily powder coating operations to ensure efficient, high-quality production.
- Leading and training powder coating technicians on safety, equipment operation, and application techniques.
- Monitoring and maintaining coating equipment, troubleshooting issues, and performing routine maintenance.
- Enforcing safety standards and ensuring compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations.
- Conducting quality inspections to ensure coatings meet customer specifications and industry standards.
- Implementing process improvements to boost efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance coating quality.
- Maintaining production schedules, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Documenting and reporting production metrics, quality issues, and safety incidents.
- Collaborating with other departments (manufacturing, quality, maintenance) to optimize workflow.
- Supporting inventory management for coating supplies and materials.
- Fostering a culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement within the team.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have proven leadership experience, ideally in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Possess strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Are comfortable working independently and making decisions on the production floor.
- Have technical knowledge of powder coating or paint processes (preferred, but can be taught).
- Can stand for extended periods, perform repetitive movements, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Are comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, dust, fumes, and noise, and can use appropriate PPE.
- Are flexible to work 2nd shift, including evenings or weekends as needed.
