Machine Operator Wire Cutter –
Charlotte, NC | $20.00–$21.50/hr
Kelly® Professional & Industrial is hiring a Wire Cutter in Charlotte, NC!
Pay: $20.00–$21.50 per hour, based on experience
Location: W Pointe Dr., Suite A, Charlotte, NC 28214
Schedule: Full-Time
Hours: 10:00 AM–7:00 PM or until all projects/orders are completed
What You’ll Do
- Measure and cut wire/cable to customer specifications
- Operate wire cutting, stripping, and coiling equipment
- Inspect wire for correct length, quality, and accuracy
- Label, package, and prepare completed orders for shipment
- Assist with inventory, shipping, receiving, and material handling
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Help meet daily production goals and customer deadlines
What We’re Looking For
- Previous wire cutting, warehouse, manufacturing, electrical assembly, or material-handling experience preferred
- Comfortable using measuring tools and performing basic math
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to read and follow work orders
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Ability to lift and move materials as required
- Reach Truck and/or Cherry Picker experience is a plus
Important Schedule Requirement
This is not always a strict 10:00 AM–7:00 PM shift. Candidates must be flexible and willing to stay beyond 7:00 PM when necessary to complete customer orders and projects.
