Pay Rate: $33.23/hour (including shift differential)
Shift: 3rd shift (Sunday–Thursday, 11 PM–7 AM)

What’s a typical day as Industrial Heat Treatment Technician? You’ll be:
- Setting up and operating induction hardening equipment to harden raceways and gears on bearing rings
- Loading, unloading, and securing large workpieces using cranes and proper tooling
- Referring to part drawings and process sheets to specify tooling and inductor parameters
- Obtaining inspection and approval of set-ups and first pieces; checking tolerances and surface finishes
- Performing Rockwell hardness and hardness-depth testing and documenting results
- Conducting mag-particle or dye-penetrant inspections of hardened features
- Maintaining and calibrating inspection equipment, and reporting any issues
- Ensuring all products meet or exceed customer expectations and documenting quality-related information
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment, complying with all safety and environmental policies
- Detecting and reporting defective material, setup, or operating difficulties
- Collaborating with team members to improve processes and workflow
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have manufacturing, machining, or heat treatment experience (preferred)
- Are able to read technical drawings and process documentation
- Possess basic math skills including fractions, decimals, algebra, and metric conversions
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Can safely handle heavy industrial equipment in a fast-paced environment
- Are able to work independently and as part of a team
- Have a High School diploma or equivalent
