In this role, you’ll play a critical part in the successful execution of a Cell Therapy clinical trial by managing individual patient journeys from first informed consent through randomization, treatment, and the first post-treatment scan. You’ll coordinate complex, time-sensitive patient cases across clinical sites and cross-functional internal teams, ensuring patients move through the end-to-end “vein-to-vein” process efficiently and compliantly.

You’ll need to quickly master clinical trial protocols — particularly in melanoma — and become fluent in TCR-T cell therapy and TIL terminology. You’ll serve as a trusted operational partner to investigators, physicians, and study coordinators, especially in high-pressure moments where timing and coordination matter most. Strong organization, a solution-oriented mindset, empathy for site workload, and a service-first attitude are essential to success in this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete internal training and QC checks, following guidance from the global patient journey lead
  

• Lead touchpoint calls with site staff, take meeting minutes, and coordinate the patient journey in real time
  

• Follow up with sites on next steps to expedite patient randomizations
  

• Align with internal stakeholders (Clinical Operations, Clinical Development, Clinical Sciences, Global Patient Supply, Project Management, GMP Operations, Quality Control, Quality Assurance) to keep site activity and internal workflows in sync
  

• Coordinate MVR slots, randomization dates, and manufacturing start dates with the patient journey lead
  

• Guide eligible patients through the fastest compliant path to randomization
  

• Tailor each patient’s journey in real time based on individual needs and site constraints
  

• Independently manage patient vein-to-vein workflows to support operational excellence
  

• Complete and review randomization tables in alignment with the global team
  

• Support global patient tracking efforts
  

• Advise sites on EDC sections required prior to randomization
  

• Collaborate with CRAs and cross-functional teams, including communication on out-of-specification issues
  

• Serve as a responsive, knowledgeable point of contact for site staff, including availability after standard business hours

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, medicine, pharmacy, health sciences, or a related discipline required; Master’s degree preferred
  

• 5+ years of relevant experience in clinical operations, medical affairs, study coordination, or a related function within immunology and/or oncology
  

• Practical experience in cell and gene therapy
  

• Experience with clinical protocols and site management
  

• Proficiency in project management within a clinical development environment, including hands-on use of project management tools and methodologies
  

• Experience in strategic planning, risk management, and change management
