Kelly is hiring a Shipping & Receiving / Assembler on behalf of a leading designer and manufacturer of custom automated machinery and material handling systems.
$18.00 – $20.00 Per Hour Based on Experience.
Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
This position combines shipping and receiving responsibilities with hands-on assembly work. The ideal candidate is organized, mechanically inclined, comfortable working with their hands, and takes pride in accuracy and quality.
Shipping & Receiving Responsibilities:
- Manage the movement and tracking of incoming and outgoing goods
- Verify shipments for accuracy and inspect incoming deliveries for damage or discrepancies
- Prepare products and materials for shipment
- Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records using computer systems
- Coordinate with transportation providers as needed
- Operate warehouse equipment safely
- Follow company procedures to ensure efficient and accurate movement of materials
- Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs. independently
Assembly Responsibilities:
- Assemble small parts, components, and subassemblies into finished products
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Read and follow technical instructions, blueprints, schematics, and assembly documentation
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and proper function???????
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform hands-on work
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. independently
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory/shipping systems
- Mechanical aptitude or technical experience is a plus
- Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, manufacturing, or assembly experience is preferred
- Knowledge of shipping or inventory software is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints or schematics is a plus
- Clean driving record required
