Kelly is hiring a Shipping & Receiving / Assembler on behalf of a leading designer and manufacturer of custom automated machinery and material handling systems.

$18.00 – $20.00 Per Hour Based on Experience.

Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm  

This position combines shipping and receiving responsibilities with hands-on assembly work. The ideal candidate is organized, mechanically inclined, comfortable working with their hands, and takes pride in accuracy and quality.

Shipping & Receiving Responsibilities:

  • Manage the movement and tracking of incoming and outgoing goods

  • Verify shipments for accuracy and inspect incoming deliveries for damage or discrepancies

  • Prepare products and materials for shipment

  • Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records using computer systems

  • Coordinate with transportation providers as needed

  • Operate warehouse equipment safely

  • Follow company procedures to ensure efficient and accurate movement of materials

  • Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs. independently

Assembly Responsibilities:

  • Assemble small parts, components, and subassemblies into finished products

  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively

  • Read and follow technical instructions, blueprints, schematics, and assembly documentation

  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and proper function???????

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

  • Good physical stamina and ability to perform hands-on work

  • Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. independently

  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory/shipping systems

  • Mechanical aptitude or technical experience is a plus

  • Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, manufacturing, or assembly experience is preferred

  • Knowledge of shipping or inventory software is a plus

  • Ability to read blueprints or schematics is a plus

  • Clean driving record required
