Job Title: Production Associate – Reclaim Grinder Operator
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
Shift: 3rd Shift – Monday to Friday, 11:00 pm to 7:00 am
Location: Kelly Services (Temporary Contract Role)
Summary
Join the Kelly Services team as a Production Associate–Reclaim Grinder Operator! In this crucial role, you will be responsible for safely managing and operating reclaim grinding equipment within end-of-line operations. This is a temporary contract position offering a competitive hourly wage and opportunities to gain valuable manufacturing experience.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Comply with all plant rules and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area at all times
- Adhere to daily attendance requirements and maintain good attendance records
- Keep all plant areas well-maintained and free of hazards
- Know the location of jam-up and emergency stop buttons; use phone paging system as needed
- Operate board grinders, prepare and feed scrap products into reclaim equipment
- Operate compactor equipment and perform related duties
- Perform any other duties as assigned or needed
Essential Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Ability to routinely lift up to 55 lbs. without assistance
- Comfortable working up to 12+ hours in hot/cold manufacturing environments
- Able to walk/stand on concrete floors continuously for up to 12 hours
- Safeguard self with appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): steel-toed shoes, eye protection (glasses, goggles, or facemask), hearing protection, and long-sleeved shirt (shirt tail tucked in)
- Use cleaning equipment or tools as necessary for housekeeping duties, always following safety rules
- Ability to work overtime as necessary
