Shift: 1st Shift
Pay Rate: $48.00 – $52.00/hour

Kelly is proud to partner with our local client in searching for a talented Quality Technician to support their team. Key Responsibilities
- Asset & Tool Management: Streamline the asset-intake process for equipment and tools, acting as the single point of contact for all purchases and transfers. Manage documentation and ensure SAP data accuracy.
- Preventive Maintenance & Calibration: Oversee both internal and external vendors to guarantee timely and compliant preventive maintenance and calibration of all equipment and tools. Coordinate scheduling, work scope, and ensure inventory and repair needs are met.
- Production Line Oversight: Manage production-line tools, perform functional checks, organize tool calibration and repair, track asset status, and ensure out-of-tolerance tools are quarantined if necessary.
- Quality Inspection: Perform Incoming, In-Process, and Outgoing Quality Control (IQC, IPQC, OQC) inspections of components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. Report findings in SAP, address nonconformances, and assist with resolving quality issues.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with quality engineers to issue and track alerts, gather data for audits, prepare documentation packages, and support process reviews.
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor reliability and compliance KPIs, lead corrective actions, and participate in root-cause analysis for equipment and tooling failures.
- Site Support: Commute regularly between Fremont and Foster City sister sites to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 6 years of progressive QA experience in a fully or semi-automated production environment—preferably in Aerospace, Automotive, Medical Device, or Robotics.
- Proficient with quality control tools, SAP/Oracle ERP systems, and MS Office/Google Suite.
- Exceptional organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities; thrive under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Bonus Qualifications:
- Inspection experience with compute, lidar, camera, or sensor assemblies.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or ISO 13485 standards.
