Production Operator I
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Overtime: Fridays as needed while production is catching up
Experience Level: Entry-level; manufacturing experience preferred
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable Production Operator I to join an aluminum powder-coating production team. This position involves loading aluminum panels into a powder-coating machine and performing quality-control inspections at the end of the process. Employees will work as part of a two-person team and may rotate responsibilities with the Feeder position throughout the shift.
Training will be provided on additional production processes, creating opportunities to expand job knowledge, responsibilities, and advancement potential.
Job Responsibilities
- Load approximately 20-foot aluminum panels into a powder-coating machine
- Inspect finished aluminum panels for quality and production standards
- Rotate duties with the Feeder position as needed
- Follow safety procedures and production instructions
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work effectively as part of a two-person production team
- Learn additional areas of the production process
- Work overtime on Fridays when required
Requirements
- Some manufacturing experience preferred
- Entry-level candidates willing to learn are encouraged to apply
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work with long aluminum panels
- Ability to stand, move, and work throughout the shift
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment
- Must wear steel-toe or composite-toe boots or shoes
- Must pass a 10-panel rapid urine drug screen
- Must successfully complete a background check consistent with company requirements
