Kelly Services is hiring Pick and Pack Workers for a temperature-controlled warehouse in Sparks, NV. This is a cold-storage position where the warehouse floor is approximately 38°F. The ideal candidate is dependable, comfortable working in a cold environment, and able to stand for extended periods while packing customer orders at a conveyor system.

Schedule

• Sunday–Thursday, 6:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
  

• The goal is for selected candidates to start on Thursday
  

• A brief meet-and-greet may be held before starting, potentially in a group setting. This will include a facility walkthrough and an opportunity to speak with the warehouse team.

Pay and Incentives

• Base pay: $20.00 per hour
  

• Earn up to an additional $80 per week:
  

  • $40 for perfect weekly attendance
    

  • $40 for meeting group productivity metrics
    

  
  

• Temp-to-hire opportunity, with potential conversion at the end of the year or beginning of next year based on performance, attendance, and business needs

Job Summary

As a Pick and Pack Worker, you will accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment in a temperature-controlled warehouse environment. You will help ensure products are handled safely, packed according to specifications, and ready for carrier pickup within daily deadlines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately according to packing slips and system instructions
  

• Prepare orders to meet cold-chain requirements using insulation, ice packs, dry ice, and other temperature-sensitive materials
  

• Safely handle dry ice in accordance with established safety procedures
  

• Place dry ice into packages, seal cartons, and apply shipping labels
  

• Verify product, quantity, labeling, and packaging accuracy before sealing orders
  

• Meet daily pack-out goals and carrier pickup deadlines
  

• Apply shipping labels and carrier-specific documentation correctly
  

• Work safely and efficiently at a conveyor packing station
  

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  

• Follow cold-storage, food-safety, OSHA, and company safety requirements
  

• Report order discrepancies, damaged products, or supply shortages to a supervisor
  

• Assist with receiving, inventory counts, and restocking as needed
  

• Follow all company standard operating procedures and work instructions

• Ability to work in a cold-storage environment with extended exposure to temperatures around 38°F
  

• Willingness to stand for extended periods and work at a fast pace
  

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
  

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy
  

• Ability to meet time-sensitive carrier cutoff schedules
  

• Reliable attendance and punctuality
  

• Ability to read and follow written instructions, packing slips, and shipping labels
  

• Previous warehouse, packing, fulfillment, or order-processing experience preferred, but not required
  

• Ability to safely work with dry ice after receiving required training

Workers should dress in layers and wear warm, comfortable footwear suitable for standing and working in a cold environment for the entire shift.
