Schedule: Monday-Friday from 7:00AM-3:30PM or 10:30AM-7:00PM

What’s a typical day as Trailer Technician? You’ll be:
- Performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs on trailers (dry van, reefer).
- Conducting FMCSA/DOT inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Diagnosing and repairing trailer systems, including air brakes, ABS, body, and liftgate hydraulic systems.
- Conducting structural, body, and welding repairs (stick, MIG, TIG).
- Maintaining accurate service and inspection records, documenting repairs and labor.
- Collaborating with drivers, technicians, and supervisors to support shop productivity and workflow.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a minimum 6 months of verifiable trailer repair experience.
- Hold a valid driver’s license.
- Own a basic set of tools and possess welding experience (stick, MIG, TIG).
- Are able to diagnose ABS and brake system issues and are computer literate for diagnostics and documentation.
- Can lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor in an indoor shop environment with occasional outdoor work.
- Have experience with reefer trailers and liftgate systems (preferred).
- Are familiar with FMCSA/DOT inspection standards and advanced diagnostics (preferred).
- Possess a High School diploma or equivalent.
