Warehouse Associate – Rework Operator

Position Summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Warehouse Associate – Rework Operator to manage and safely operate the bagging and rework area. The ideal candidate will support warehouse operations, maintain product quality, follow safety procedures, and contribute to a clean and organized work environment.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Comply with all plant rules and safety regulations.
  

• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
  

• Follow the plant attendance policy and maintain reliable attendance.
  

• Maintain good housekeeping throughout all plant areas.
  

• Know the locations of jam-up and emergency-stop buttons.
  

• Use the phone paging system as required.
  

• Review and follow established warehouse and shipping processes.
  

• Support inventory management activities, including:
  

  • Individual pallet tracking
    

  • Cycle counts
    

  • Product rework
    

  • Customer returns
    

  
  

• Work with other departments on activities related to customer returns, product integrity, and finished-goods production.
  

• Operate the robotic wrapping machine.
  

• Identify product quality or damage concerns and take appropriate action to help prevent recurrence.
  

• Perform job duties in a manner that minimizes environmental impact.
  

• Follow environmental regulations and recycling procedures for waste disposal and chemical use.
  

• Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications and Physical Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  

• Ability to routinely lift up to 55 pounds without assistance.
  

• Ability to work up to 12 or more hours in a hot or cold manufacturing environment, as needed.
  

• Ability to continuously walk and stand on a concrete floor for up to 12 hours.
  

• Ability to work overtime when necessary.
  

• Ability to use cleaning equipment and tools for housekeeping duties while following all safety requirements.
  

• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including:
  

  • Steel-toed shoes
    

  • Eye protection, such as safety glasses, goggles, or a face shield
    

  • Hearing protection
    

  • Long-sleeved shirt with shirt tail tucked in, as required for assigned tasks
