Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour plus a 10% shift differential, $23.10 an hour
Schedule: 2nd shift, Monday through Thursday, 4:30 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist B — Swiss to support efficient and effective production in a general machine shop environment. The selected candidate will set up, operate, and inspect parts produced on CNC Swiss machines while maintaining close tolerances, meeting production standards, and adhering to the company’s Quality Management System.
Position Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and verify the quality of work on at least one CNC Swiss machine involving close tolerances and difficult setups.
- Perform routine and repetitive operations consistently while meeting quality requirements and production standards.
- Perform repeat setups independently and assist with more complex setups under supervision.
- Monitor program sequence variations, including positioning and cycle time, and make necessary corrections.
- Assist with the prove-out of part programs for new work or critical variations.
- Read and work from drawings, specifications, and Traveler instructions.
- Troubleshoot routine jobs independently and more complex jobs with supervision.
- Run production and deburr parts as required.
- Evaluate production job performance against established production and quality standards.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance operations.
- Provide suggestions for engineering and process improvements.
- Maintain the tooling required to manufacture parts to specifications.
- Conduct quality checks using fixed or adjustable precision measuring devices.
- Lubricate and clean machines as necessary.
- Perform multiple operations as required.
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
- Work safely and comply with all established safety rules and practices.
- Follow company, department, and quality policies and procedures.
- Keep the Operations Manager informed of job-related problems and work activity.
- Maintain a positive attitude and promote a team-oriented environment.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of vocational-technical training in machine tool technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Two to five years of CNC machining setup and operating experience in a job shop environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to produce quality products in accordance with the Quality Management System.
