Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour plus a 10% shift differential
Estimated 2nd-Shift Rate: $20.90 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 4:30 p.m.–3:00 a.m.

Position Summary

Production Operator is responsible for operating equipment and completing production activities efficiently, accurately, and safely. This position operates a variety of ECC saws and performs quality checks to ensure products meet company specifications, production standards, and Quality Management System requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate and verify the quality of work produced on a variety of ECC saws involving close tolerances.
  

• Perform routine and repetitive operations consistently while meeting quality and production standards.
  

• Operate ECC saws that have been set up for production.
  

• Read and follow drawings, specifications, traveler instructions, and other work instructions.
  

• Conduct quality inspections using fixed and adjustable precision measuring devices.
  

• Maintain required tooling and make adjustments as needed to manufacture parts to specifications.
  

• Lubricate, clean, and perform basic care of machines as necessary.
  

• Participate in continuous improvement activities.
  

• Make suggestions to improve processes, efficiency, and overall operations.
  

• Perform multiple operations as required.
  

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  

• Follow all company, department, quality, and safety policies and procedures.
  

• Report job-related problems and other work-related information to the Area Lead.
  

• Maintain a positive attitude and promote teamwork throughout the department.
  

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
  

• Strong mechanical aptitude.
  

• Ability to follow written instructions, drawings, specifications, and production documentation.
  

• Ability to perform repetitive work while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  

• Ability to use precision measuring tools and equipment.
  

• Previous experience operating ECC saws is preferred but not required.
  

• Commitment to quality, safety, productivity, and teamwork.

Physical Requirements

The employee must be able to occasionally:

• Walk, sit, balance, stoop, reach, talk, and hear.
  

• Use hands and fingers to handle tools, materials, controls, and equipment.
  

• Lift and move up to 40 pounds.
  

• Use close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision.
  

• Adjust focus as needed to perform job duties safely and accurately.
