Tax Data Entry Associate

Location: Coppell, TX — Hybrid
Job Type: Full time
 

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Data Entry Associate to support the replication of tax forms and tax-related information. In this role, you will enter and organize tax data accurately while following established procedures and quality standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates interested in developing their knowledge of tax preparation and accounting. Experience preparing entry-level U.S. federal or state individual and business tax returns is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Enter tax information accurately into designated systems.

  • Replicate tax forms and tax details based on provided source documents.

  • Review entered information for accuracy and completeness.

  • Identify and report missing, inconsistent, or unclear information.

  • Follow established procedures for data entry, documentation, and quality control.

  • Maintain confidentiality when handling tax and financial information.

  • Collaborate with team members to meet productivity and accuracy goals.

Qualifications

  • College degree required.

  • Interest in tax preparation, accounting, or related financial services.

  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software systems.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to organize information and follow written procedures.

  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience preparing entry-level U.S. federal individual tax returns.

  • Experience preparing U.S. state individual tax returns.

  • Experience with individual or business tax forms.

  • Prior data entry, accounting, tax, or administrative experience.
