Repair Specialist

Location: Livonia, MI
Shift: Mon-Fri 7:30am-4pm or 9:30am-6pm (Some OT including 10 hour shift/ and Saturdays possible. Notice is provided ahead of time.)
Pay rate: $19/hr

Duties

  • Review each product to determine the repairs required.


  • Identify and gather the appropriate tools and materials needed to complete repairs to quality standards.


  • Cut, trim, file, bend, smooth, or otherwise modify parts as necessary to complete repairs.


  • Ensure all completed repairs meet established quality control standards.


  • Follow assembly and workplace safety standards at all times.


  • Work collaboratively with team members to identify and develop improved repair methods.


  • Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment with a strong focus on injury prevention.


  • Perform regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.


  • Stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8–10 hours per shift.


  • Lift and move totes or materials weighing up to 50 pounds.


  • Work effectively in environments with varying noise levels, lighting conditions, and temperatures.


  • Access all areas of the facility without limitations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent practical experience.


  • Hands-on repair experience is preferred.


  • Strong commitment to quality and pride in workmanship.


  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail.


  • Strong teamwork, responsiveness, and professional communication skills.


  • Ability and willingness to work safely in a warehouse or production environment.


  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including prolonged standing/walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and frequent bending, stretching, reaching, and lifting.
