Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $15.50 per hour

Shift: 1st shift is 5 AM to 1:30 PM Monday thru Friday

This is a full-time position; days and hours of work may vary depending on business demands. Weekends overtime as required by department.

What’s a typical day as a Quality Control Inspector? You’ll be:

• Inspecting finished products for defects and specification deviations, ensuring only quality items leave the Finish Department.
  

• Documenting inspection results and maintaining accurate records.
  

• Segregating non-conforming materials and performing touch-ups or initiating rework as needed.
  

• Reporting and following up on products requiring remake or extensive repair.
  

• Communicating quality standards and defects to line operators and working closely with production teams.
  

• Analyzing customer drawings, prints, and specifications for compliance.
  

• Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by following all safety regulations and wearing required PPE.
  

• Supporting the organization’s CARE values and quality commitment.
  

• Performing other duties as assigned by the department supervisor.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Are proficient in geometric tolerances and understand quality standards and practices (must-have).
  

• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  

• Are proficient with computers and familiar with MS Office applications.
  

• Can distinguish colors and have excellent decision-making abilities.
  

• Have the physical ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and carry products (up to 50 lbs.) for extended periods, both inside and outside of air-conditioned environments.
  

• Are able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  

• Are bilingual in Spanish and English (preferred but not required).
  

• Are dedicated to following all safety and PPE requirements.
