Production Operator
Kelly Services is hiring a Production Operator for a temporary-to-hire opportunity.
- Pay: $18.00 per hour
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
- Job Type: Temporary to hire
Job Summary
The Production Operator supports manufacturing operations by assembling, packaging, inspecting, and handling products. This role requires attention to detail, reliable attendance, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Perform production, assembly, packaging, and material-handling tasks.
- Operate equipment according to established procedures.
- Inspect products and report defects or quality issues.
- Follow safety guidelines and work instructions.
- Load, unload, and move materials as needed.
- Complete production records and required documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
- Assist with equipment setup, changeovers, and minor troubleshooting.
- Meet productivity, quality, and attendance expectations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Manufacturing, warehouse, assembly, or production experience preferred.
- Ability to read and follow basic work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or with a team.
- Forklift experience or certification is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull frequently.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and manufacturing conditions.
