About the Role:
A confidential customer is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to coordinate all aspects of inbound and outbound planning, as well as distribution processes for shipments. This position is responsible for ensuring safe, timely, and efficient execution of warehouse operations while maintaining accurate data and compliance with established procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all warehousing activities including packing, storage, replenishment, picking, loading, and dispatching of goods.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with health, safety, and environmental policies and protocols.
- Maintain accurate and timely data entry in the ERP system.
- Coordinate closely with internal teams and third-party logistics providers to manage direct shipping from multiple locations to end customers.
- Schedule and book shipments with carriers, coordinating inbound and outbound logistics through warehouse and transportation management systems.
- Communicate with outbound carriers, coordinate schedules, and ensure compliance with on-time delivery requirements.
- Sort and arrange materials for storage, picking, packing, and transporting as required.
- Support customs processes and adhere to relevant regulations (experience in international logistics preferred).
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. (No employment visa sponsorship available.)
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in warehouse/logistics operations.
- Proven experience in logistics coordination.
- Forklift certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
Desired Characteristics:
- Experience in a warehouse environment.
- Background in international logistics, transportation, and customs processes.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and organizational skills.
- Results oriented, with a track record of delivering on commitments.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and inclusiveness skills.
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiar with warehouse safety protocols.
