Job Description

We are seeking a General Assembler 1 to join our manufacturing team. The General Assembler 1 fabricates commercial tents, sidewalls, and other vinyl products used in the rental and amusement industries.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Weld vinyl products using a Radio Frequency (RF) Welder — approximately 60%
  

• Interpret drawings and cut patterns — approximately 20%
  

• Support team members with the fabrication of assemblies — approximately 10%
  

• Provide miscellaneous support to the organization as needed — approximately 10%
  

• Operate equipment, including cutting machines and fabric bonding machines
  

• Perform manual assembly of vinyl products
  

• Measure, fold, position, and move materials throughout the production process
  

• Follow safety procedures and production instructions

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  

• English or Spanish as a primary language
  

• Good verbal communication skills
  

• Ability to work effectively with others
  

• Ability to learn and operate production equipment
  

• Ability to follow drawings, patterns, and work instructions

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

• Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 75 pounds
  

• Ability to stand, sit, walk, lift, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout an 8-hour workday
  

• Ability to position materials for assembly using equipment
  

• Ability to handle, fold, measure, move, and assemble vinyl products
  

• Ability to cut vinyl products and perform all required steps within the department’s production processes
  

• Work is performed in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
