Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:

$43 per hour

Shift:

Normal hours are 6am to 2:30, could sometimes cover 2nd shift possibly 50% of the time and work until 7pm; start time would shift to later.

What’s a typical day as Manufacturing Engineer – Industrial Engineering? You’ll be:

• Planning, coordinating, and performing manufacturing engineering work for projects or processes, operating within established guidelines
  

• Supporting analysis and specification of methods, process steps, machinery, and equipment for continuous improvement
  

• Contributing to the development and feasibility testing of engineering solutions, providing feedback and data to validate designs
  

• Drafting engineering standards and specifications and evaluating their effectiveness under the guidance of senior team members
  

• Conducting inspections to assess the quality of engineering works and installations, making recommendations for remedial actions
  

• Coordinating activities of subcontractors and suppliers as the primary point of contact within contract management plans
  

• Identifying process improvements and supporting change management initiatives
  

• Assisting with product development and engineering activities using established systems to analyze needs and deliver solutions
  

• Serving as the resident SAP EWM transactional expert, assisting with training and process definition for receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping
  

• Participating in assessment, development planning, and ongoing professional education

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or a related field (required)
  

• Bring knowledge and skills in engineering technology, design, development, specification, testing, and implementation
  

• Are skilled in business requirements analysis, project schedule management, costing, budgeting, and contract management
  

• Demonstrate understanding of health and safety, negotiation, policy and regulation, risk management, and reporting
  

• Possess strong communication and coordination abilities to work in a team and support personnel
  

• Are comfortable working onsite and can wear metatarsal boots from day one
  

• Are able to support SAP EWM warehouse operations and process improvement
  

• Are eligible to work in the US (visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future for this position)
