Assembly Operator
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday
Hours: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM ET
Position Overview
The Assembly will be trained to follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Operation Descriptions (ODs) to mechanically adjust relays according to engineering instructions. This position reports to a Leadperson or Supervisor.
Primary Responsibilities
- Set up relay adjustment machines for various relay types.
- Visually inspect relays for quality and accuracy.
- Magnetize relays.
- Adjust relay contact forces.
- Adjust pickup, hold, and dropout voltage.
- Adjust contact gaps.
- Adjust contact bounce time.
- Perform quality measurements and maintain accurate records, including SPC documentation.
- Complete additional assembly operations as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures, SOPs, and engineering instructions.

Requirements
- Higher education or equivalent work experience.
- Strong visual acuity and attention to detail.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Basic English communication skills, including speaking, reading, and writing.
- One to two years of electromechanical assembly experience preferred.
- Previous inspection experience preferred.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and meet quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
