Location: Yorba Linda, CA
Work arrangement: On-site

Duration: 1-year contract with a strong likelihood of temp-to-hire

Nobel Biocare, a division of Envista, is expanding and upgrading its CNC equipment—and is looking for a CNC Maintenance & Reliability Planner to help build a more proactive maintenance program.

This role is ideal for someone who understands CNC equipment and enjoys planning, coordinating, and improving maintenance activities. You’ll analyze machine-performance trends, organize preventive maintenance, and work closely with technicians on the production floor to help keep equipment reliable. While this isn’t a hands-on repair role, being comfortable spending time on the floor and discussing equipment needs with the maintenance team is important.

What you’ll do

  • Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance for CNC machines.

  • Review machine-performance data, including spindle load and event frequency, to spot trends and potential issues.

  • Coordinate technician schedules, maintenance priorities, and spare-parts orders.

  • Serve as the primary planner for the maintenance team and help ensure resources are used effectively.

  • Work with technicians on the production floor to understand equipment conditions and adjust schedules as needed.

  • Help the team identify and troubleshoot equipment issues before they lead to unplanned downtime.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in a CNC manufacturing or maintenance environment.

  • Knowledge of CNC maintenance, equipment reliability, and troubleshooting.

  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to communicate effectively with technicians.

  • Strong planning, organization, and coordination skills.

  • A proactive, collaborative approach and willingness to stay connected to what’s happening on the production floor.

Preferred: Experience in a regulated industry, such as medical devices or aerospace. Familiarity with Tornos machines is a plus.
