Position: Shipping/Receiving Worker
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 4:30 PM
Location : Malden, MA
Pay range: $20/hour
Job Summary
The Shipping/Receiving Worker is responsible for performing essential functions related to the receiving, processing, and shipping of equipment and parts. This role requires accuracy in inventory management and effective communication with team members and supervisors.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Receiving Equipment:
- Receive new equipment in AX, verify packing slips for accuracy, and notify the appropriate channels of any inconsistencies.
- Barcode and place equipment in the proper location.
- Evaluate and barcode used equipment, ensuring proper placement.

Receiving Parts:
- Receive new parts in AX, verify packing slips for accuracy, and notify the appropriate channels of any inconsistencies.
- Label and store parts in the proper location.

Shipping and Inventory Management:
- Pull, label, verify, and ship parts, notifying technicians of parts received or ordered.
- Prepare equipment for outgoing installations and place it in designated areas with all associated extras.
- Manage inventory of shop supplies, chemicals, and hardware.
- Handle incoming and outgoing UPS shipments, including packing, labeling, and staging for dispatch.
- Create Bills of Lading (BOL) for outgoing shipments and receive freight as needed.
- Pull, label, verify, and ship parts, notifying technicians of parts received or ordered.

Warehouse Maintenance:
- Regularly maintain the warehouse in an orderly manner.
- Ship parts and equipment to external customers, including boxing, palletizing, and securing pallets.
- Dispose of obsolete and unrepairable equipment.
- Regularly maintain the warehouse in an orderly manner.

Organizational Standards:
- Maintain organizational standards for workspace and paperwork.
- Assist with inventories, including vans, warehouse, and parts cage, as well as spot checks throughout the year.
- Assist with refurbishing equipment as needed, covering for vacations or busy times.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- A minimum of two years of warehouse experience, preferably working with coffee, tea, and beverage equipment or in a related field.
Qualifications/Skills
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Positive customer service attitude and a team player.
- Reliable with the ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Attention to detail with good organizational skills.
- Technology proficiency, including experience with warehouse management systems.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
