Customer Service Representative – Print Production

Seattle, WA
Full-Time | Temporary-to-Hire
Pay: $20.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join a busy print production team in Seattle. This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers, coordinating orders, and working in a fast-paced print environment.

You will work directly with clients to understand their needs, create clear order instructions for production, coordinate project details, and keep customers informed throughout the process.

What You’ll Do

  • Greet clients and provide friendly, professional customer service.

  • Process work orders received in person, by phone, email, electronically, and in hard copy.

  • Review customer requests and create clear instructions for production teams.

  • Help customers select appropriate paper, binding, finishing, and other print options.

  • Assist with quoting and billing print projects using company software.

  • Contact clients by phone or email to clarify order details or obtain missing information.

  • Assist customers with proof review and approval.

  • Communicate pricing, shipping and delivery dates, production delays, and other project updates.

  • Follow up with customers to keep them informed of project status.

  • Direct questions about jobs in production to the appropriate production manager or team member.

  • Coordinate Will Call and delivery timing with production schedules.

  • Work with drivers and courier services to coordinate deliveries.

  • Pack and ship completed orders using FedEx, UPS, and USPS.

  • Maintain office supply and packaging inventory.

  • Educate customers about additional services and products that may meet their needs.

  • Assist with other customer service and print production tasks as needed.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in customer service, print production, finishing, reprographics, or a related environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Comfortable learning new software and procedures quickly.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with both customers and internal production teams.

  • Comfortable working with computers and entering order information accurately.

  • Ability to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services.

Preferred Experience

Experience or knowledge in the following areas is a plus:

  • Digital printing

  • Color printing

  • Signage

  • Bindery

  • Print finishing

  • Reprographics

  • Print quoting or estimating

  • Order processing

  • Production coordination

Print industry experience is helpful but not required for the right customer-service-focused candidate who is comfortable learning the process.

Compensation & Opportunity

$20.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Temporary-to-Hire: This position starts as a temporary assignment with the opportunity to transition into a permanent position based on performance, attendance, and business needs.
