Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Coordinator
Position Type: Temporary
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Work Schedule: Mon-Fri| 6:30AM-2:30PM
Positions Requested: 1
Onsite Position: Yes 
Pay: $19 per hour


Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Specialist to join our SLC team on a temporary basis. This role is responsible for coordinating and processing all incoming deliveries to the plant and outgoing shipments from the facility. The Warehouse Specialist ensures accurate documentation of materials, efficient distribution within the plant, and careful inventory control.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and process incoming deliveries and outgoing shipments

  • Accurately document incoming materials and outgoing packages

  • Operate warehouse equipment (Forklift, Walkie Rider, Order Selector, pallet jack)

  • Ensure timely, accurate delivery of shipments to the correct departments or warehouse locations

  • Maintain inventory control through daily cycle counts and perform zone counting as instructed

  • Initiate inventory adjustments and correct Oracle system errors as needed

  • Handle and process Material Destruction Orders (MDOs) for non-conforming or expired inventory

  • Ensure waste and inventory loss are minimized and movements are captured in the inventory system

  • Maintain compliance with company policies, GMP procedures, laws, and regulations

  • Keep the work environment clean and organized

  • Communicate effectively with team members to resolve discrepancies and close communication loops

  • Support rework teams by identifying, locating, and moving products as needed

  • Additional responsibilities as required

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with shipping, loading/off-loading of trailers, commercial invoices, and international shipments

  • Forklift training and operator certification (or ability to obtain)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); ability to learn systems such as Oracle and other applications

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Knowledge of inventory management and cycle counting processes

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Minimum of 2 years of related warehouse experience
