What’s a typical day as CNC Machine Operator? You’ll be:
- Operating precision CNC machining equipment in a dynamic production environment
- Performing machine offsets, adjustments, tool changes, and startups
- Troubleshooting machine alarms, tooling issues, and production challenges
- Monitoring production performance and maintaining high quality standards
- Inspecting parts using a variety of precision measuring equipment
- Reading and following manufacturing routers, inspection plans, and work instructions
- Maintaining accurate production and quality records
- Collaborating with teammates to achieve safety, quality, and production goals
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiency
- Keeping your work area clean, organized, and safe
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have experience with CNC machining in a manufacturing environment (must have)
- Possess strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Are skilled at making machine offsets and tooling adjustments
- Can read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
- Understand shop math and precision measurement techniques
- Have experience using inspection equipment and quality systems
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Can work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Bring a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow
- (Preferred) Have experience with medical device manufacturing, tight-tolerance machining, or advanced inspection methods
