At Kelly® Engineering, we are passionate about helping you find the ideal job for you. This may be your opportunity! We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to work with one of our main clients in the aerospace equipment manufacturing industry in Santa Isabel, PR.
Key Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day manufacturing operations and provide engineering assistance to production teams.

  • Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment, processes, and assembly issues.

  • Review and interpret assembly drawings, circuit-card documentation, electrical schematics, bills of material, and assembly instructions.

  • Assist with process development, optimization, validation, and continuous-improvement initiatives.

  • Investigate manufacturing and quality issues using structured root-cause-analysis methods.

  • Support corrective and preventive action initiatives, including implementation and follow-up.

  • Help develop, update, and maintain manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and process-control procedures.

  • Collaborate with production, quality, design engineering, supply chain, and other teams to resolve issues and meet business priorities.

  • Apply process-control and quality-control techniques to improve product consistency and manufacturing performance.

  • Organize and prioritize multiple assignments while adapting to changing production and business needs.

  • Promote safe, efficient, and compliant manufacturing practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related engineering discipline; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.

  • Entry- to mid-level experience in a manufacturing, production, or process-engineering environment.

  • U.S. citizenship is required.

  • Ability to work effectively in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Approximately 2–3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, production support, or a related hands-on manufacturing role.

  • Experience supporting manufacturing processes, production operations, or manufacturing equipment.

  • Ability to read and understand assembly drawings, circuit cards, electrical schematics, bills of material, and assembly instructions.

  • Familiarity with equipment troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, corrective and preventive action, process control, and quality-control techniques.

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and manufacturing documentation practices.

  • Experience working with engineering documentation systems, quality-management systems, or manufacturing software.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or comparable productivity tools.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and adapt to changing business requirements.

  • Strong team-player skills and a commitment to collaborative problem-solving.
