Kelly® is looking for a Forklift Operator to work at a distribution center in Orlando, FL 32824. Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:

 $17.75-$18.75/hour per hour, depending on shift and equipment qualifications

Shifts:

1st Shift: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM 
2nd Shift: 4:00 PM–12:30 AM 
3rd Shift: Fri/Sat/Sun- 6am-6pm

Overtime: Mandatory. Must be available for weekends and to work beyond scheduled hours. During peak season, day shift could begin as early as 5:00 AM and run up to 12 hours.

What’s a typical day as Forklift Operator? You’ll be:

  • Operating various types of warehouse equipment: Forklift, Reach Truck, Box Clamp (not roll or bail clamp), and Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ)

  • Supporting warehouse operations by picking, moving, and staging materials for shipment

  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment and following all safety protocols

  • Reporting to warehouse supervisors and collaborating with team members

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent (required)

  • Bring at least 6 months of experience operating forklifts or similar warehouse equipment. Forklift testing is required. sit down, stand up, clamp etc

  • Are able to operate 2–4 types of equipment (Forklift, Reach Truck, Box Clamp, EPJ); higher pay available for those proficient in all four

  • Are comfortable with mandatory overtime, weekend work, and flexible shift assignments

  • Can pass a background check and drug screening, and complete I-9 documentation

  • Are able to attend required orientation and on-site testing sessions
