Kelly is hiring for a Production Operator for a 12-month assignment contract role at Wilmington IL 60481 with our prestigious client.
Job Title: Production Operator
Primary Location: Wilmington IL 60481
12 – month contract assignment – Onsite role
Wednesday – Friday 6AM – 6PM (Tuesday every 4 weeks)
Pay rate: $20.81/hr
Qualifications:
- Successfully complete all site required EH&S and Operations Training
- Ability to lift 50 Pounds
- Ability to stand for extended time – up to 10-12 hours.
- Ability to properly use Dupont approved cutting tools & other required tools
- Ability to follow all safety guidelines
- Ability to read English and perform basic math functions
- Meet all requirements of the pre-employment “Fitness for Duty” assessment
Responsibilities:
- Be able to identify potential hazards in the workplace and to take action to eliminate/minimize risks.
- Comply with all Site Rules and Safety Requirements
- Maintain a Clean and Safe Work Environment
- Set-up packaging line for product being produced according to production spec. sheet
- Inspect cans and packages according to quality specifications
- Assemble bases, trays, other packaging as required
- Record production data as required per the Production Counting Procedure.
- Return out-of-spec aerosol cans to production line
- Other duties as requested by management.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures.
- Notify supervision of all injuries, illnesses and other safety incidents immediately.
