At Kelly® Engineering, we are passionate about helping you find the ideal job for you. This may be your opportunity! We are looking for a Digital Technology – Data Science & Analytics to work with one of our main clients in the aerospace equipment manufacturing industry in Santa Isabel, PR.
Position Summary
The Digital Technology – Data Science & Analytics professional supports the organization by transforming business and operational data into meaningful insights, automated reporting solutions, and digital tools that enable effective decision-making. The role partners with business functions to understand reporting and analytical needs, develop data-driven solutions, improve existing processes, and create standardized dashboards and reporting capabilities using enterprise digital technologies. The position combines business intelligence, data analytics, reporting automation, dashboard development, and digital technology support, serving as a bridge between business requirements and technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities

  1. Business Intelligence & Data Analytics

• Analyze business and operational data to identify trends, patterns, opportunities, and performance gaps.
• Translate business requirements into analytical and digital solutions.
• Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure reporting accuracy.
• Support leadership and functional teams with data-driven insights for decision-making.
 • Consolidate information from multiple data sources into standardized reporting solutions.

  1. Dashboard Development & Visualization

• Develop, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards and visual reports using Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft 365 tools, SharePoint, and Excel.
• Create effective dashboard layouts, visualizations, KPI reporting, and data views aligned with business requirements.
• Support data refreshes, troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous improvement of existing dashboards.

  1. Reporting Automation

• Identify manual or repetitive reporting activities that can be automated.
• Develop automated reporting processes to improve efficiency and data consistency.
• Reduce dependency on manually maintained spreadsheets and reports.
• Create reusable reporting templates and standardized solutions.
• Support scheduled and recurring business reporting.
• Improve data collection, consolidation, and presentation processes.

4. Microsoft Power Platform
• Develop Power Apps solutions to simplify manual processes and create user-friendly applications for data entry, tracking, approvals, and operational workflows. • Use Power Automate to automate workflows, notifications, approvals, data transfers, and repetitive administrative processes.
• Develop and maintain SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, and data repositories.
• Integrate SharePoint with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Microsoft 365 solutions.

5. Data Analysis & Programming
• Use Python and analytical tools to clean and transform datasets.
• Automate repetitive data-processing activities.
• Perform advanced data analysis and combine information from multiple sources. • Support data validation and prepare datasets for dashboards and reporting.
• Develop analytical models or scripts that improve reporting efficiency.

6. Digital Technology Solutions
• Evaluate business processes and identify opportunities for digital transformation. • Recommend appropriate digital tools based on business requirements.
• Develop business cases supporting implementation of digital solutions.
• Research emerging technologies and assess their potential business applications. • Support implementation, testing, validation, and deployment of digital solutions.

7. Business Partnership & Requirements Gathering
• Partner with stakeholders across Operations, Finance, HR, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Leadership.
• Gather business requirements and understand existing processes and pain points. • Define reporting and analytics requirements and translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Present proposed solutions and analytical results to stakeholders.
• Train users on newly implemented digital tools and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
8. Data Quality & Governance
• Establish standards for data accuracy and consistency.
• Validate source data before publishing reports.
• Document data sources, calculations, assumptions, and reporting methodologies.
• Support standardized definitions for KPIs and business metrics.
• Ensure appropriate access and handling of business information.

Education
• Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related technical/analytical field.

Experience
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Digital Technology, dashboard development, reporting, or related functions.
• Experience supporting operational and leadership reporting in a manufacturing or corporate environment is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple reporting requirements and working with cross-functional stakeholders.
