What’s a typical day as Staff Accountant? You’ll be:

• Assisting an international facility with vouchering, vendor inquiries, and statement reconciliations
  

• Backing up the AP Specialist with daily accounts payable operations
  

• Coding and entering AP overhead invoices for multiple sites
  

• Reconciling vendor statements and monitoring accounts to ensure payments are current
  

• Researching and resolving invoice discrepancies and issues
  

• Corresponding with vendors, handling inquiries, and supporting cash management processes (check runs, wires, reconciliations)
  

• Collaborating with the AR Specialist on AR agings and collections, and identifying AR problems for the Account Manager
  

• Performing bank statement reconciliations and basic journal entries
  

• Assisting with projects and providing backup to other accounting functions as needed

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Hold a minimum 4-year degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  

• Have 3+ years of general accounting experience
  

• Demonstrate knowledge of general accounting procedures and proficiency in data entry and time management
  

• Possess hands-on experience in an electrical component manufacturing environment
  

• Are familiar with Infor Syteline
  

• Are detail-oriented, organized, and thrive in a team-focused environment
