Employment type: Full-time, hourly
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Pay: $18–$20 per hour, plus a $1.00-per-hour second-shift differential

About the role

Extrude Hone is seeking a dependable Machine Operator I to support the surface finishing of customer parts. You’ll operate equipment using technologies such as Abrasive Flow Machining (AFM), Electro-Chemical Machining (ECM), Thermal Energy Method (TEM), and Microflow (MF). Training is scheduled for 6:45 a.m.–3:15 p.m. After training, the role will move to second shift. The listed regular schedule is 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m.

What you’ll do

  • Load and unload machines, package finished products, and keep the shop area clean.

  • Set up machines for individual jobs and install fixtures using small hand tools.

  • Set machine controls and adjust settings to meet job requirements.

  • Follow supervisor instructions and complete assigned work.

  • Maintain production records and follow applicable quality procedures.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll bring

  • High school, trade school, or equivalent education.

  • U.S. citizenship.

  • Basic mechanical ability or knowledge and the ability to use small hand tools.

  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English.

  • Ability to understand and follow ISO procedures and processes related to job performance and quality.

Physical requirements

This role involves standing and walking for extended periods, bending, climbing, reaching above shoulder level, and stooping to floor level. You must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
