Schedule: Monday – Friday | Day Shift (with flexibility for overtime or peak-season weekend hours as needed)

Are you detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and experienced with warehouse inventory systems? We are looking for an experienced Shipping and Receiving Verifier to join our distribution team in Pooler, GA.

In this role, you serve as the critical final check for accuracy, inspecting all inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring exact piece counts, preventing cargo damage, and logging data into our warehouse management system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inbound & Outbound Verification: Inspect all incoming and outgoing shipments to confirm exact piece counts, accurate labeling, and proper documentation against bills of lading (BOL).

  • Quality & Damage Inspection: Carefully examine cargo condition—identifying, documenting, and reporting any damage or defects on sensitive materials prior to release or storage.

  • RF Scanning & WMS Tracking: Utilize handheld RF scanners to record all inventory transfers, product movements, and work-order completion times.

  • Equipment Inspection & Operation: Perform and document pre-shift inspections on equipment (including RF units, lift trucks, and clamp attachments); operate equipment safely when required.

  • Trailer & Container Inspection: Verify transport equipment condition and cleanliness to ensure trailers and containers are safe and suitable for loading.

  • Warehouse Safety & Housekeeping: Maintain constant situational awareness, staying clear of blind spots and mobile equipment traffic; keep assigned staging bays and aisles clean, organized, and debris-free.

What You Bring to the Team

  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

  • WMS & RF Experience: 1+ years of experience using handheld RF scanners with a warehouse management system (Camelot WMS experience is a strong plus).

  • Equipment Experience: 1+ years of warehouse equipment experience operating lift trucks with a clamp attachment strongly preferred.

  • Math & Accuracy: Strong basic math, counting, and documentation skills with an eye for minor discrepancies.

  • Safety Awareness: Dedicated commitment to OSHA safety guidelines, pedestrian safety, and safe product handling.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and maneuver throughout a large warehouse facility for up to 8–10 hours per shift.

  • Ability to lift and move freight, utilizing team-lift assistance for heavy items up to 100 lbs.

  • Comfortable working in an industrial warehouse environment subject to seasonal temperature variations and active machinery noise.
