Kelly Science & Clinical is supporting a leading biopharma customer with the implementation of a new global LIMS platform. This 6-month consulting engagement offers a flexible ~20-hour workweek and the opportunity to drive a high-impact, enterprise-wide technology initiative across U.S. and European teams.
- Job Title: LIMS Project Management Consultant
- Schedule: Flexible (approximately 20 hours per week)
- Location: Houston Metro area (onsite preferred)

- Contract Duration: 6 months + potential for extension
- Rate: $75-95/hr. (negotiable/DOE)
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Management Consultant to support the implementation of a global Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). The project is in an active delivery phase and requires additional project management capacity to drive execution, coordinate stakeholders, and support successful deployment activities across multiple teams.
The consultant will work closely with project leadership, business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to ensure timely delivery of project objectives, manage risks and dependencies, and maintain overall project transparency.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day management of the LIMS implementation project.
- Coordinate project activities across business, IT, development and validation teams.
- Drive project planning, tracking, and status reporting.
- Facilitate project meetings, and steering discussions.
- Manage risks, issues, decisions, and project dependencies.
- Follow up on action items and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Maintain project documentation, schedules, and governance materials.
- Support stakeholder communication across US and European teams.
- Assist with change management, deployment planning, and readiness activities as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- 8+ years of project management experience, including complex IT projects.
- Proven experience managing enterprise software implementation projects.
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
- Experience working with global and cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
- Experience in pharmaceutical, laboratory, quality control, quality assurance or regulated environments.
- Familiarity with software validation, quality processes, or GxP-regulated systems.
- Project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent).
