Job Title: Manufacturing Technician I
Location: New Brighton, MN
Pay Rate: $21.25/hour
Shift: 1st Shift

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Technician I in New Brighton, MN, to support our daily customer demand and production schedules. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting medical devices while maintaining safety and quality standards at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and test medical devices using specialized equipment, fixtures, and work instructions.

  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Lead and/or Specialist to ensure production schedules are met.

  • Participate in basic problem-solving activities to maintain stable operations.

  • Report quality or process issues to Manufacturing Lead or Production Supervisor.

  • Complete all required documentation in compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

  • Participate in continuous improvement (DBS) and 5S activities.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

  • Support the production team with product processing and other assigned tasks.

  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and quality system requirements.

Qualifications:

Minimum Required:

  • High school diploma or some relevant work experience.

  • Ability to read and follow safety rules, operating procedures, and work instructions.

  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.

  • Strong collaborative skills, ability to work as part of a team.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).

  • Previous medical device manufacturing experience.

  • Microscope experience.

  • Problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in areas with adhesives, solvents, and chemical processes.

  • Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, and twist.

  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to observe and inspect small parts over extended periods.

  • Close and color vision required.

  • Ability to conform to controlled environments with strict apparel and personal hygiene standards.
