Machine Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Location: Addison, IL 60101
Shift: Initial 1st Shift Training (approx. 2 weeks), then 2nd Shift (2PM–11PM)
Pay: Starting at $22.50/hr+ DOE
Overtime: Available and may be required based on business needs
Position Overview:
We are looking for a dependable, hands-on individual to support our manufacturing operations as a Machine Maintenance & Troubleshooting team member in Addison, IL. This position is responsible for maintaining equipment reliability, performing repairs, and assisting with routine preventive maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine machine and equipment maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting
- Identify mechanical and operational issues, escalating concerns as needed
- Support and participate in preventive maintenance activities and equipment inspections
- Ensure equipment is maintained in safe and reliable operating condition
- Follow detailed maintenance procedures and comply with all safety requirements
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding equipment status and needs
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing, production, or industrial maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable performing repetitive bending, lifting, reaching, and standing for long periods
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, safety procedures, and maintenance guidelines.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work well both independently and within a team
