Position Overview:
Kelly Services is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Specialist to join our client’s team in Austin, TX. This role is responsible for providing courteous and professional service in a fast-paced supply chain environment within the semiconductor industry.
Responsibilities:
- Respond professionally to incoming customer phone calls regarding spare parts quotes, order placement, repair and warranty services, shipment tracking, and billing inquiries
- Manage customer accounts, including maintaining Supplier Managed Inventory (SMI) programs
- Advise customers on delivery schedules and investigate shipping issues promptly
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns efficiently
- Overtime, weekends, and holiday work may be required as business needs demand
Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree or higher in Business Administration, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service and order processing; experience with parts shipping/receiving administration, materials planning, purchasing, or product support by telephone preferred—especially in the semiconductor industry
- Proficient in SAP (preferred); knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM a plus
- Strong verbal communication skills and professional telephone etiquette
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
