Test Support Technician
Location: Taylor, TX (may train in Georgetown)
Schedule: 7a-4p Mon-Fri
Pay Rate: $19.50/hr
About the role
We’re seeking a hands-on Test Support Technician to join our server manufacturing team. You’ll test server hardware, troubleshoot components, and verify system quality before shipment. Your work will help ensure each server meets performance and reliability standards while supporting efficient production and a positive customer experience.
What you’ll do

  • Troubleshoot and repair component-level issues involving CPUs, memory, storage, power supplies, and other hardware.

  • Use diagnostic tools, scripts, and software utilities to validate system performance.

  • Document test results, report failures, and maintain accurate records.

  • Follow ESD, safety, and manufacturing procedures.

  • Apply your knowledge of server architecture and hardware components to support troubleshooting.

  • Partner with production and engineering teams to resolve issues and improve processes.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience troubleshooting computer, server, or rack-mounted hardware.

  • Basic command-line proficiency in Linux and/or Windows.

  • Ability to follow technical instructions and test procedures accurately.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Collaborative approach and experience working in a manufacturing or lab environment.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in server hardware testing, electronics manufacturing, or data center/server repair.

  • Knowledge of L10 test methodology.

  • A+ certification, Server+ certification, or equivalent.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude.

  • Commitment to working safely and following established manufacturing and ESD procedures.
