Shipping/Receiving Worker
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Lunch: 1-hour UNPAID lunch, plus 1-hour PAID break (combined lunch/break period)
Location: Southfield, MI
Payrate: $17hrly
Position Overview:
Kelly is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping/Receiving Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse, fulfillment, shipping, packing, distribution, or e-commerce environments. You will support shipping and receiving operations while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick, pack, label, and ship orders
- Receive and verify incoming shipments against packing slips
- Read and compare SKU numbers, product labels, and written procedures
- Maintain order accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Identify and report discrepancies rather than making assumptions
- Operate scanners, computers, tablets, shipping systems, and label printers (training provided)
- Follow established processes and instructions
- Rotate between fulfillment and warehouse support tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Dependable attendance and punctuality throughout the assignment
- Composite or steel-toe footwear required
- All black or grey clothing preferred (jeans OK)
- Basic computer and data-entry skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain order accuracy
- Willingness to work independently and as part of an assigned team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse, fulfillment, shipping, packing, distribution, or e-commerce experience
