- Optimize Transportation Costs: Analyze freight expenditure, carrier performance, transportation trends, and service metrics to identify savings and efficiency opportunities.
- Improve Inventory Visibility: Monitor inventory movements, material receipts, warehouse transfers, and finished goods shipments while investigating discrepancies.
- Solve Logistics Challenges: Proactively address shipment delays, customs issues, and delivery disruptions through cross-functional collaboration.
- Leverage Technology & Analytics: Use SAP GTS and other supply chain systems to support international shipments, trade compliance, reporting, and operational improvements.
- Measure What Matters: Maintain dashboards, forecasting models, KPIs, and performance reports that drive smarter supply chain decisions.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, Business Administration, or a related field—or equivalent relevant experience.
- 5+ years of experience in international logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, customs brokerage, trade compliance, or global supply chain operations.
- Hands-on experience coordinating international shipments across multiple transportation modes.
- Knowledge of import/export regulations, customs procedures, and international trade documentation.
- Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and third-party logistics providers.
- Background in semiconductor, electronics, high-tech manufacturing, or a similar global supply chain environment.
- Familiarity with SAP GTS, SAP, or other trade compliance and ERP systems.
- Knowledge of Foreign Trade Zones, bonded warehouses, or related trade compliance operations is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
