Electronic Circuitry / Parts Assembler I

On-site | Gloucester, MA
Pay: Around $23/hour, with flexibility for qualified candidates
Schedule: Day shift — 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. or 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
Openings: 2–3

We’re hiring detail-oriented assemblers to build and configure RF generators and other electro-mechanical products used in industrial applications. Most openings require hands-on PCB soldering experience; one opening may be suitable for someone with strong mechanical assembly experience.

What you’ll do

  • Assemble electro-mechanical products, including RF generators, PCB assemblies, cable assemblies, wire harnesses, and power supplies.

  • Configure components to meet customer specifications.

  • Read and follow blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts lists, written procedures, and verbal instructions.

  • Solder electronic components directly onto printed circuit boards.

  • Diagnose assembly issues and share improvement ideas with manufacturing, quality, and design teams.

  • Follow health and safety requirements and 6S Lean principles.

  • Cross-train and support training for other team members.

Soldering note: This role involves soldering multiple components onto PCBs; it does not involve soldering wire-to-wire connections.

What we’re looking for

For soldering openings: Previous PCB soldering experience and familiarity with IPC standards; ability to solder to IPC Class 2 or Class 3 requirements. Ability to pass a hands-on soldering test during the interview. For one opening, mechanical assembly experience may be considered instead of soldering experience. Ability to read and understand English-language work instructions, blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings. Experience using soldering irons or stations, power screwdrivers, and hand tools. Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work with limited supervision.
