Salary: $18-20/hour depending on experience
Shift: 2:30pm – 1am

What’s a typical day as Machine Operator? You’ll be:
- Operating and maintaining high-speed production lines to ensure efficient manufacturing processes.
- Filling packaging containers ranging from pint size to 55-gallon drums.
- Performing equipment adjustments and changeovers to maintain optimal operation and product quality.
- Accurately documenting production processes, including completing logs and tracking materials.
- Conducting first-piece and line inspections to uphold quality standards.
- Preparing trainees and demonstrating leadership and teamwork.
- Reporting production and quality issues to supervisors, and completing inspection and safety reports.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Performing other duties as assigned by production supervisors or managers.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Bring 2+ years of production experience in a manufacturing environment (required).
- Possess knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Understand raw materials, production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
- Are skilled in reading gauges, dials, and indicators to ensure proper machine operation.
- Have strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Are familiar with MSDS, lock-out/tag-out, and OSHA requirements.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Can coordinate multiple projects and set priorities to meet deadlines.
- Are flexible and able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Can lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push/pull heavy loads, and sustain prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
- Are comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment with exposure to chemical fumes, loud noises, and flashing lights, and can wear required PPE.
- Preferred: 5+ years of production operations experience, especially in high-volume or high-speed manufacturing, experience as a production lead/supervisor, or experience in the automotive industry.
