Temporary Packaging Associates – Compton, CA
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Assignment Length: 1 Month
We are hiring for a limited number of temporary Packaging positions in Compton for a busy holiday season! This is a short-term assignment with a strong need for reliable individuals who can commit to the entire project.
?? Important Commitment Requirement: You must be available for the full assignment, including Saturdays and Sundays. If you plan to travel or be out of town for Thanksgiving, this opportunity will not be the right fit.
Assignment Details

    • Location: Compton, CA

    • Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour

    • Project Dates: November 8 – December 6

    • Assignment Length: Approximately 1 month

    • Schedule: 10am-630pm for the 1st 2 weeks. 3 & 4th week is 8a-7pm window. Must be able to work flexible hours based on business needs

    • Weekend Availability: Required (Saturday and Sunday)

    • Background Check and Drug Test: Must be completed for this assignment

Anticipated Work Schedule
Week 1: November 8 – November 14

    • Orientation and computer training

    • Scheduled hours: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Week 2: November 15 – November 21

    • Approximately 3 days of hands-on training (20–24 total hours)

    • Scheduled hours: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Weeks 3–4: November 22 – December 6

    • Must be available to work every day throughout this period

    • Potential work hours: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM

    • Includes the busy Black Friday weekend and Cyber Monday

    • Thanksgiving Day closure is possible but has not yet been confirmed

Important Scheduling Requirements

    • You must commit to the entire assignment, November 8 – December 6.

    • You must be available to work both Saturdays and Sundays.

    • Your schedule may vary depending on business needs. Some shifts may be as short as 4 hours, while others may be longer.

    • During the final two weeks, you must be available to work consecutive days, including the holiday shopping rush.

    • You must be willing to complete a new background check and drug test.
