Kelly Services is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support sensory evaluation and quality programs at a leading winery in Modesto. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a production and laboratory environment while supporting wine tasting, product evaluations, and training events.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare wine samples for sensory evaluations, discrimination panels, and bench tastings.

  • Set up tasting rooms, equipment, and materials for wine evaluations and training sessions.

  • Support wine-style guidance and product training events.

  • Organize, stock, and maintain laboratory and supply room inventory.

  • Ensure sensory laboratories and tasting areas are clean, organized, and ready for use.

  • Handle and transport materials, samples, and supplies as needed.

  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and quality standards.

  • Provide general support for winery sensory and laboratory operations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Experience in a winery, laboratory, manufacturing, food and beverage, or warehouse environment is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

  • Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the shift.

  • Comfortable working in both laboratory and production environments.

  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
