Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a Bio- Tech Manufacturing Technician- Compounding near Minneapolis, MN. The successful applicant will work with other members of the reagent prep production team as well as a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists to support routine production activities for reagent formulation.

~6 month Contract with potential to Hire
Compensation: $22/hr DOE

Principal duties and responsibilities:

  • Help maintain and track supplies inventor.

  • Preparation of buffers and other biochemical formulations.

  • Conjugation of protein solution.

  • Record manufacturing tasks in batch records/travelers(electronic and paper)
     

Job Qualifications Requirements:

  • 0 to 3 years of experience in a hands-on, wet bench manufacturing support related position in the chemical or biotech industry.

  • Proficient hands-on experience with standard biotech laboratory and work practices (pipetting, balances, pH meters, vortex mixer, spectrophometer, etc.). 

  • Ability to maintain extreme attention to detail and organization in all aspects of work.

  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new skills, procedures and approaches.

  • Ability to effectively document procedures, processes, and results.

  • Familiar with basic calculation/statistics skills.

  • Good communication skills (verbal and written English)

  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Able to handle heavy items (5-50lbs)

Other beneficial skill sets

  • Previous experience with Immunodetection techniques, specifically Western Blotting.

  • Previous experience with handling protein solutions

  • Previous experience with protein labeling.

  • Previous experience with lyophilization process.

  • Experience in an ISO or GMP environment.
     

Education and Experience:
AA in a science related field or Bachelor of Science in biotech, chemistry, Biology, or engineering related field
