Now Hiring: Forklift Operator (Cherry/Order Picker)

Location: Douglasville, GA
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Hours may shift to 10:00 or 11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. based on business needs. Occasional Saturdays may be required.

Position Overview

We’re seeking a reliable, flexible Cherry/Order Picker Operator to help prepare and support a new warehouse in Douglasville. Training will take place at the Austell warehouse before the role transitions to the new Douglasville location.

This is a startup warehouse environment, so duties will vary. You will operate a forklift or order picker as needed, but you will not be on lift equipment for the entire shift. You’ll also help set up the warehouse, apply labels, clean, and complete other tasks as operations get underway.

Responsibilities

  • Operate Cherry/Order Pickers as needed.

  • Receive, break down, and pack freight.

  • Help set up and organize the new warehouse.

  • Install approximately 40,000 racking labels and 1,000 signs.

  • Build approximately 7,000 cardboard storage boxes.

  • Clean work areas and assist with general warehouse tasks.

  • Perform other duties based on operational needs.

Requirements

  • Cherry/Order-Picker experience required.

  • Ability to lift and move warehouse materials.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Flexibility and willingness to perform a variety of tasks.

  • Ability to work occasional Saturdays based on business needs.

  • Ability to meet the physical and scheduling requirements of the role.
