Process Improvement Specialist – Food Manufacturing
Location: Russellville, Arkansas
Pay: $25 per hour
Schedule: 1:30 p.m.–9:30 p.m.
Assignment: Temporary project
About the role
Support a focused process improvement project in a food manufacturing facility. You’ll collect and verify production data, document observations, and share timely updates with project stakeholders. The work follows an established plan and defined scope, so attention to detail, dependable follow-through, and clear communication are essential.
What you’ll do
- Collect, verify, and organize process data accurately and consistently.
- Follow established data collection methods, standard work, and food safety procedures.
- Document observations and report progress, findings, and completed work.
- Work with operators, supervisors, maintenance, quality, and project stakeholders.
- Manage assigned tasks independently and meet project milestones.
- Promptly communicate barriers, data-quality concerns, timing risks, or scope questions.
- Use standard computer tools and spreadsheets to enter, track, and report data.
- Work in production areas while following plant safety, sanitation, and food safety practices.
What you’ll bring
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate data.
- Ability to work independently, organize priorities, and complete assigned work.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to follow established procedures and stay within a defined project scope.
- Basic computer skills, including data entry and spreadsheet use.
- Flexibility to support project activities based on production needs.
Preferred experience
- Experience in food manufacturing or a production environment.
- Familiarity with food safety, sanitation, GMPs, or plant protocols.
- Experience collecting production data or supporting process improvement projects.
